Using RVN and Submission Guidelines
To submit a message to include in the newsletter, send email to rvn@listserv.linguistlist.org. Items for submission may include, but are not limited to: -New Research Outputs: Your published materials (books, articles, etc.), presentation slides, videos, reports, blog posts, etc. related to the Rift Valley Area. Include the title, citation (and, if possible, the DOI), any download links, as well as a brief abstract. -Upcoming conferences/workshops: Conferences/workshops relevant for Network Members (relevant languages families, geographic areas, topics, etc.). Include the name of the conference (including date and location), a brief description, as well as the link to the conference homepage, or the principal contact email. -Questions: Questions which you may have for the rest of the Network members. Include a short key question, followed by further description, if necessary. -New Research Projects or Successful Grants: Describe any new relevant funding you have received, as well as a short description of the research you plan to undertake. -Grants/Funding Opportunities: Any grants or funding which may be relevant to Network Members (include the name of the funding opportunity, a link to the website, as well as deadlines). -Other: Any other material that you think would be useful or relevant to the Network You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to RVN
Subscribe to RVN by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
