Dear Colleagues,

The ILTA Newsletter is now accepting contributions for the first issue of 2022, which will be published in May. Please send news related to language testing activities following these guidelines:


  *   General news (new assessments, new language assessment policy, launch of products, language assessment-related developments, new books) (100-200 words per news item). Include at least 1 photo related to the event and/or the flag of the country where the news came from.

  *   Past events (Dec 2021-April 2022) (25-50 words per news item). Include at least 1 photo and/or the flag of the country.
  *   News from ILTA affiliated organizations (100-200 words per news item). Include at least 1 photo and the organization’s logo.
  *   Grant/scholarship/internship opportunities (25-50 words, from June 2022 onwards). Include name of the organization, 1-2 sentence description of opportunity, deadline for submission of applications, website link, at least 1 photo and the logo of organization.
  *   Professional development opportunities (upcoming conferences, workshops or short courses from June onwards). Include name of event, location (or online), dates, deadline for submission of applications/abstracts, website link.

  *   Special contributions (500-700 words). These can be in the form of an article or essay featuring research, developments or perspectives on a topic of the author’s choosing, relating to language assessment. One only will be chosen for publication.

The deadline for contributions to be sent to the Assistant Editors is 22 April 2022.
