<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear colleagues,</div><div><br></div><div>Please find attached the first call for papers for the <b>4th Białystok-Kiev Conference on Theoretical and Applied Linguistics</b>, which will be held in hybrid mode (with both face-to-face and online participation options possible) at the University of Białystok, Poland, <b>2-3 December 2021</b>. The special theme of the conference this year is Language in Context: Perspectives from Linguistics, Translation Studies, and Language Education. Possible sub-themes include but are not limited to the following subject areas:<br>– applied cognitive linguistics,<br>– cognitive translatology,<br>– constructional and embodied approach to grammar,<br>– interlinguistic and intercultural pragmatics,<br>– issues in first and second language learning,<br>– language and cognition,<br>– language and identity,<br>– language and situatedness,<br>– language processing and language acquisition,<br>– terminology and terminography, and<br>– the newest trends in foreign language teaching.</div><div><br></div><div>Additional information can also be found on the conference website: <a href="https://talc.uwb.edu.pl/index.php/talc2021/"><span class="gmail-gI">https://talc.uwb.edu.pl/index.php/talc2021/</span></a>
