<b class="">July 1, 2022</b>. The Department is interested in candidates with a specialization in Phonology/Phonetics with a secondary specialization in Algonquian languages, preferably Innu-aimun or Mi’kmaq.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class="" style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Regular term appointees perform the normal duties and responsibilities of an Academic Staff Member. Duties shall include teaching both undergraduate
and graduate courses, as well as research and graduate supervision.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" class="" style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The position normally requires a completed doctoral degree in Linguistics. A successful candidate has not completed an earned doctorate shall be appointed
at the rank of Lecturer. A regular term appointee hired at the rank of Lecturer shall be promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor, effective the date of notification of completion of an earned doctorate.
