These days (strange ones, indeed) I am often hearing <homage>
pronounced with an initial first syllable [o] and a stressed final
syllable that rhymes with the final syllable in (SAE) <garage>.  (I'm
pretty sure it's them lit critters what's doin it most.)

To me, <homage> will always have the <hom> of hominy, and the <age>
of roughage.

Anyone else hearing this?
