Shortly after its magazine publication, I published three lemmas to
Sturgeon's Law in some ephemeral source I have long since forgotten.  I
have remembered them through frequent self-referential citation:

Lemma   I: It ain't 90, it's 99.
Lemma  II: Crap is too delicate a euphemism.  (I must    admit that the
original Lemma II was considerably more      explicit. I was much
younger then.)
Lemma III: The remaining 1% is all that makes life worth living.  It is
more than adequate for the job.
