Research Hot Terms

I'm doing research on "hot" media words and phrases, and those that may be
hot in the near future.
For example, "ecommerce", "you go girl", "show me the money", etc.  This
also includes new terms in technology.
For example, "adsl" (the new telephone-based high-speed internet access
technology), "portal", etc.

Anyone know good references or newsletters or email lists for these types of
phrases?
