The Cleveland jokes remind me of a scene in the Woody Allen movie _Love and Death_ (1975), a simultaneous sendup of Tolstoy and Ingmanr Bergman.. As I recall it, the Allen character meets the ghost of a soldier the night after a battle and asks him what it's like "over there," to which the ghost replies "It's not unlike Cleveland." Jim Rader
