How about "indubitable," especially for the sound of it that makes
sense? I was told by the late Prof. Donald B. Sands (circa 1963, in an
Old English course!) that's what the pigeons are saying. If linguistic
change applies here, I wonder what the pigeons are saying 37 years
later.
