It's in my Random House Webster's College Dictionary, but from the
definitions it would be hard to conclude that the term is a common name for
those animated/3-D doohickeys.

It's also in my 1990 Webster's New World Dictionary of Media and
Communications, but its usage as a common name remains obscure.
