Regarding metathesis: I have heard one individual consistently use "fruniture" for "furniture". Rather strange, since no one else in his family does that.

Regarding "wuss"--I have also heard "wussy", which makes me suspect it's derived from "pussy", used by kids to reduce their chances of getting in trouble, like "friggin'", "gadimmit", etc.
