Dick notes:
The following is from my son Andrew, a lawyer in the UK.  Fred and Andrew
regularly had conversations about how FGC might recapture his British
citizenship, given up when his parents returned to the US from Jamaica in
his childhood.  Andrew actually inquired about this and discovered it
might be done, but Fred didn't pursue it.  He wanted dual citizenship, of
course, and I suspect admired the blue hard-bound passport of yore.  There
is no evidence that he despised the red limp Europassport now issued in
the UK be we could understand it if he did.
