There's a Merriam-Webster book by Paul Dickson, _Labels for Locals: What to
Call People from Abilene to Zimbabwe_ (1997). Many are just simple entries
(Clinton, Indiana: Clintonian.) but some have extensive commentaries (like
the possibilities for residents of Connecticut). - Allan Metcalf
