: The following came to my attention earlier today, and I thought it
: might be of interest to some of you.

: Gen X Office Lingo

FTR, as a Gen-Xer myself (b. 1970), i can attest to the at least occasional
use among similar-aged friends of the following:

Blamestorming
Cube Farm
Ohnosecond
Prairie Dogging
(except that the definition given referred to people looking
up over cubicle walls to see what's going on in reaction to
a noise, and i've only ever thought to use it to refer to
people popping their heads up above cubicle walls to chat)
Starter Marriage
Tourists
(though in an somewhat more general sense than the given
definition, not just people who take training classes--
academics who go to conferences mainly just to get away
from work might be classifiable as tourists, too, for
     example :-] )
Treeware
Uninstalled
Xerox Subsidy

These, though, i haven't heard. Anyone else out there on the list who can
attest these outside of Oracle Humor's list?

Body Nazis
Ego Surfing
Elvis Year
404
Idea Hamsters
Keyboard Plaque
Mouse Potato
SITCOMs
Stress Puppy
Swiped Out
