Well Frank, you've helped me to understand the recent comments of a
colleague.  He had mentioned that his daughter, who is attending a Big
10 (or 12) school, was concerned that her coach might be in trouble
because of the swim team's overall placement at a Spring meet.  It seems
that some people felt that the coach hadn't properly dealt with the
'tapers' of the team, during the past year.  {? Minor and major
tapers.?}  Thus, at various meets, the team had performed below
expectations.

Now, at least, I can ask about Bics and shave pools.
