missing word: mullet

I wasn't familiar with this haircut name.

I did a Web search. MANY sites are devoted to the mullet, including plenty
of hilarious and/or scurrilous/obscene ones. Apparently the style is less
than universally applauded.

Amazon shows at least two "mullet" books.

Etymology??

Somebody claims the expression comes from the use of "mullethead" in the
movie "Cool Hand Luke".
