Greetings again from Budapest. I take a train to Bucharest later
today...This keyboard is terrible, and I cannot even read the keys I do not
know...The New York Times still has not published my letter to the editor,
nor corrected its errors, nor responded to me in any way.

SLICE BAR--Pizza Hut has this. Another Bar.
LADY COCKTAIL--2 cl Ballantines, 2 cl amaretto, 5 cl juice.
L^AMOUR COCKTAIL--2cl JW Red, 4 cl Amaretto, 5 cl juice.
OLYMPIC MOMENT CLICHE AS HEARD ON EURO SPORT--"He quenched his thirst at the
last chance saloon."

USA TODAY, international, page one, 27 September 2000, had an
interesting story on pilot talk:

INSTEAD OF PILOTS MIGHT SAY
turbulence..................bumpy, rough or choppy air
late............................the new departure or arrival time
thunderstorm..............rain shower
aborted takeoff............discontinuing the takeoff
final destination...........destination
terminal......................gate
fog.............................mist, haze, or restricted visiblity

The article states that most pilots desire the dialect of Chuck Yeager.
Maybe the article is at www.usatoday.com.
