    He left most of his stuff to the Culinary Archives & Museum at the Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island.  The truly awful web site (begun just in October 2000) is at www.culinary.org.
   I'll try to do research in the Culinary Archives & Museum maybe next week, or sometime before I head to Costa Rica & Belize in March.
