   The Los Angeles Public Library has a wonderful menu database, almost all online, available to everyone.  Go to www.lapl.org, then click local history resources, then click "menu collection."
   O'Dell's, 4922 South Figueroa, Los Angeles, has a 1928 menu, although I didn't see the date on it.  Some items are:

Cheeseburger on bun...15 cents
Genuine Denver Sandwich...25 cents
American Cheese on bun...15 cents
