MAN/DADDY ROCK ME (ROCK & ROLL)
The November 2002 COMMENTS ON ETYMOLOGY was "MATERIAL FOR THE STUDY OF
_ROCK AND ROLL_." There is the Trixie Smith song, "My Man Rocks Me (With One
Steady Roll)," which I think is 1922 or 1923.
Of possible interest for an earlier (1919) sexual "rock" use is this, in

Pg. 133 (QUERATARO): Chile, another common products, yields 4,800 tons a
year, being sold partly in the shape of "chile verde" (green chili), partly
simply dried or baked in the sun, and some of it preserved in vinegar. The
various species of chile are grown, viz.: "chile bolita" (capsicum
cordiforme), common chile (capsicum annum), "chile guajilla" (capsicum
longum), and "chile piquin" (capsicum annum cerasiforme). The variety valled
"guajilla" also "tornachile" is the one that is generally preserved in
vinegar.
