It's Jon, not John

Who was it who said that our good deeds are soon forgotten but that
our errors follow us for ever? It might, now I think about it, have
been me. I made that mistake in the newsletter, but corrected it on
the Web page at <http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-nit2.htm>. While
I am confessing my sins, on two other occasions I spelt Dr Lighter's
first name as "Jonathon", for which the most slender finger of blame
must be pointed at Jonathon Green's parents ...
