Looking some more at the EEBO cookbooks...

CHARLET: "How to make charlet" is on image 54 (no page number) of THIS IS THE BOKE OF COKERY (1500). It's very difficult to read. "How to make Jullette" appears to follow. This is the first book that comes up under "Cookery" if you arrange them in chronological order. It's with mylke, egges, and saffron. Is this "Charlotte"?

SAUCE ROBERT: OED has 1723. "Loyne of porke with sauce Robert" is on page 28 of THE FRENCH COOK (1653) by Francis Pierre de La Varenne.

WESTMINSTER-FOOL: In the index to THE ENGLISH AND FRENCH COOK (1674), just above "A Waffel," is "Westminster-fool p. 340." OED has "Westminster fool" in a cookbook by Hannah Glasse (1747). Don't tell me she plagiarized this!
