Yes, the roots are still in the 4th edition. THe 4th edition came out in
2000, as did a revised edition of
The American Heritage Dictionary of IE Roots. I edited both. The 4th
edition of the English dictionary also has a new Semitic Roots appendix by
John Huehnergard (also of Harvard, like Watkins).
        I don't want to bore y'all with a sales pitch, so if you want more
info, just ask...
        (I responded off-list with more info to the original IE querier,
btw.)
