   MOUSETRAPS
toast bread
grated tasty cheese
finely chopped onion
chutney
salt
pepper
chopped parsley
   Toast the bread on one side only.  Combine cheese and onion.  Spread untoasted side of bread with chutney.  Top with cheese mixture.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.  Place mousetraps on an oven tray.  Grill until golden.  Garnish with chopped parsley.

(Various cheese dishes come under the name "mousetraps."  If OED doesn't add Mousetraps or Melting Moments or Afghans, don't blame me!--ed.)
