Greetings from a place just south of Cape Foulwind. ("How do you get to Foulwind? Easy. Just follow Shit Creek....")

GOATS LEGS--This place also said they were called "Muddy Paws." Basically, some biscuits with cream in the middle and a dab of chocolate at the tip.

IRISH NACHOS--"wedges & beans," according to one menu.

GIVE WAY--Kiwi for "yield."

TRIAD OF EVIL--Used by ACT MP Donna Awatere Huata in today's THE PRESS (Christchurch): "A triad of evil exists between the rituals of the marae, family abuse, and the presence of gangs," she said. She was speaking about violence against women. Why a "triad" and not an "axis"?
