catercorner: in DARE

Perhaps someone has mentioned this, but for terms like "catercorner" and
"kitty-corner" the comprehensive detailed reference is our Dictionary of
American Regional English. It says "catercorner" is chiefly South and South
Midlands, while "kitty-corner" is chiefly North, North Midland, and West.
There's a map of "kitty-corner" distribution in volume 3. There are also
entries for the related terms "catawampus" and "kitty-wampus."
