   WEBSTER'S NEW WORLD DICTIONARY OF CULINARY ARTS has these, neither of which is in the OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY:

_Oxford pudding_ A British dessert consisting of an apricot tart topped with meringue.
_Oxford sauce_ A British sauce of red currant jelly dissolved with port and flavored with shallots, orange zest and mustard; usually served with game.


   "An Oxford Pudding" is in THE ART OF COOKERY (1755) by Hannah Glasse (Gerritsen Collection).  See past issues of PETITS PROPOS CULINAIRES.
   The NEW YORK TIMES, 20 February 1911, pg. 2, "three bottles of Oxford sauce."
   OED has the 1764 "Oxford sausage," then jumps to 1877, not citing these from OCLC Worldcat:
