I have to admit I'm a little puzzled by this thread. Are people discussing a
new or unusual use of "anyways," or the same usage that is listed in most
dictionaries? For example:

In case anyone is keeping track, I grew up in and around Boston, and
"anyways" sounds totally normal to me. I think I say "anyway," but I
couldn't swear that "anyways" has never left my mouth...
