M-W has 1940( The movie 'Front Page', which almost certainly POPULARIZED the term).

>From a 1932 Walter Winchell column using newspaperarchive.

31 March 1932. _Nevada State Journal_ 4/4

<<...And so saying--his beautiful sekkaterry tightened up her ahems!--and Garbo'd: "I t'ink I go home, now"--Your Gal Friday.

Could this be a first use of "Garbo'd" as a verb?
