I don't know if he was the first to do so but Joe Mccarthy cerainly popularized the usage. And as far as conservative buzz words are concerned "eliitist" has become common when referring to liberals. And "arrogant" is certainly as much thrown around by Conservatives as by liberals. jerome Foster
