FOODWAYS

"Foodways" is not in OED.

OEFDA
Vol. II, pg. 134:
"In the 1970s the folklorist Don Yoder developed the study of folk cookery,
drawing from European ethnology, which involved detailed observation of all
aspects of peasant life. Yoder introduced the term 'foodways' to refer to 'the
total cookery complex, including attitudes, taboos, and meal systems--the whole
range of cookery and food habits in a society."

FRANKENFOOD

"Frankenfood" is one of the most popular of food word coinages. We've
discussed it here several times. Genetically Modified ("GM") foods are a big topic.

"Frankenfood" is not in the index to the OEFDA. Not in slang? Not in the
topic of biotechnology, where GM is mentioned? Not ANYWHERE?

There's much more, but I don't have time.
