Looks like an amateur radio call sign to me.. unless Mark's got some
kind of new code going : )
Yup. The initial W meant United States, as do K, N, and A; I think A is
still reserved for the military. "V" before the number indicated Novice
class. The numeral 2 meant New York State, or maybe New York/New England. I
never advanced any further.
