siditty etymology...

Since "siditty/seditty" (bourgeois black person, snobbish and pretentious) is stressed on the second syllable, might the term derive from "seditious"?
I.e., the pretentious/snobbish bourgeois blacks might have been regarded by fellow blacks as not merely annoying but as traitors to their race.
