"jazz mags" euphemism?

Eggcorn, or ambiguity (perhaps deliberate on
Shakespeare's part)?  From what limited reading I've
done, people much more knowledgeable about Shakespeare
than I don't agree on exactly what Shakespeare meant
by this phrase.
