"Commercial" words (WAS: plural people)

        Now that I think about this further, I realize that I do talk
about laundering clothes, but not when it's something that my wife or I
do.  Laundering of clothes is something that happens in a laundry; for
example, I get my dress shirts laundered.  When it's at home, we wash
our clothes.

        Yes, laundering money is something that I literally talk about
daily.  (My clients are required to have anti-money laundering
policies.)  Laundering clothes, not so much.
