On NPR's On Point this morning:
Douglas Knecht, in defending Bush's modifications of the provisions of
Bills he has just signed, said he shouldn't be reduced to an "automon" (or
possibly -man) carrying out the law.
 Does use of a non-word (you should pardon the expression) instead of
another real word qualify as an eggcorn?
