Actually, I don't really think closing the list is a good idea, either.
Most of the discussions have been excellent, and we can't let one person
spoil our scholarly fun.  I just was in favor of ending the discussion (and
yes, I have posted to him, too), since there IS no discussion.  So I will
ignore him, too, and hope that sending him to Coventry does the trick.
