Recycling the above subject line: on tonight's show, Colbert just
talked (to Carl Bernstein, of Watergate's Woodstein couple) about the
fact that Bernstein should have "copywritten" the -gate suffix
(actually he said the -gate word), the way Pat Riley "copywrote"
_threepeat_.

No, I know it's not new.

Anyway, the pre-commercial promo moment (proment?) mentions that
"truthiness" is indeed the American Dialect Society's word of the
year, thus making linguistic history, or "linguistory".  Not, I hope,
a candidate for WOTY '06.
