cocktail (1803)

Not the drink, but a sense I don't see covered in the OED (in the
version I have access to at any rate):

The Times, Tuesday, Mar 18, 1788; pg. 4; Issue 1023; col B
Monday, March 17 / Lost, a silver watch, maker's name, Dashwood, No.
3797... the name C. Davis engraved on the Cocktail; Enamel'd Plate,
Gold Hands, ... It was left in the Privy at Lord Haweksborough's Office ...

Hardly seems like a nonce, but I haven't yet found another usage like
it from that period.
