"go fever" (go know)

I'd never heard it before tonight's nightly news, but it's both
transparent (or at least translucent) and widely attested.  "Go
fever", with 14.8K google hits, is the sense of urgency felt
specifically by NASA officials that may lead them to okay a launch
that isn't really good to go (applied--retroactively?--to the
ill-fated Columbia launch and the earlier Apollo 1 disaster).  There
are extended uses in military and no doubt other contexts.
