Geoduck (1881)

Since the Native word is pronounced vaguely as / 'gwid^k / and the English word is allegedly pronounced as / 'guid^k /,  {geoduck}  is definitely in the running for most fouled-up English spelling of them all.

check out the Wikipedia page on geoducks. the word is in AHD4 and
NOAD2. oh, and in OED2.
