A reporter on Fox News has reminded us this a.m. that Jennifer Wilbanks "was coined 'The Runaway Bride.' "

  Exx. are hard to search for, but here are a couple from sources that should know better :

  a2006 San Diego Natural History Museum: Epidemic! http://www.sdnhm.org/fieldguide/zoonoses/essay.html : During the Middle Ages it was coined "The Black Death." Its virulence destroyed whole populations and economies.
