You're very much welcome

While on vacation in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, I asked a supermarket clerk
for help, which she provided very courteously. When I thanked her, she
replied, "You're very much welcome." I've never heard this before; is it
common in the area (I presume the clerk is a native) or anywhere else?
