As it happens, my research area is classical Euclidean geometry, and
specifically parametrization of polygons. Three or four years ago, I was
giving a colloquium talk on the theory, and (on being questioned)
explained that it did, indeed, apply to the degenerate case of two-sided
polygons. The obvious pun was made.
