Another kind of buddy: ''guy''

I did find these in random profiles a few minutes ago in the Seattle room on
Manhunt.net:

"Playful guy in open LTR enjoys hot, sweaty fun." (Respondent lists age as
47)
"Fit, fun guy looking for friends, fuckbuds, dating or anything in
between..." (Respondent lists age as 37)
"...seeking White guys ...for friendship/fun!!!" (Respondent lists age as
31)
" Just graduated and looking to meet interesting gay/bi guys in the area
18-29" (Respondent lists age as 22)

Dude is used somewhat as well, though not to the same extent as guy. I often
use it in a vocative sense and wouldn't use "buddy" in it's place.

" Whats up guys...

looking to meet some guys, make some friends, and see what comes my way, UW
college dude,...." (Respondent lists age as 20)

Prior to taking this sampling, I wouldn't have thought the use of guy by gay
men was that prevalent, at least in this context.
