When the troll heard the cloven hoofbeats of The first Billy Goat
Gruff, Little, he came out from under the bridge to eat him. But
Little told the troll to wait for Middle, a bigger Billy Goat Gruff
that would make a better meal. Middle gave the troll the same rap WRT
to Big Billy Goat Gruff. But Big turned out to be too big for the
troll to handle and he kicked the troll's arse. So, all three Billy
Goats Gruff made it safely across the bridge.

The story is rivetting and unforgettable. Once you've read it, it's
with you for the rest of your life. Nowadays, though, people would
probably call them "The Three Billy Goat Gruffs."

come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
