intransitive "resolve"

Elisabeth Hasselbeck regarding an on-air argument with Rosie O'Donnell:

"I honestly think, I believe that we are mature women who can resolve."

I don't remember coming across this use of "resolve" before but it reminds me of
the intransitive use of "manage" "figure" "keep" which I would expect to find
mostly in informal speech.

I can't stand to watch _The View_ but for some reason I find myself guiltily
rubbernecking at headlines about it.
