True dat--but my line is more attention getting. :-)

Also true. In fact, i presented a paper at a conference a few years ago
(and then proceeded never to finish writing it up) that presented good
demographic *and* linguistic evidence for that. I'm gonna have to go
find my data and whip it into shape, once i get time.

So, like, you know, sometime next century.
