Heard on the judges, with apologies to Wilson

Sorry for stealing your subject line, Wilson, but it fits.  This
morning a 50ish white male speaker of Northern Midlands and a merger
of low back vowels consistently used open o in "dollar."  I didn't
hear other clear instances of open o in his speech, and I haven't
noticed this combination of vowels before, in spite of living in a
Northern Midlands, low back merger region for the past 29 years.
