Third Reich and Obama

While hearing a clip of Obama's speech at Normandy commemerating the 65th
anniversary of D-Day, I could have sworn I heard him pronounce "Reich" as
[rīch], not [rīk]. I didn't get to hear another example, so I can't comment
on whether this was an error or the actual way he regularly pronounces it.

Also, England's Prime Minister Gordon Brown had a slip of the tongue,
calling Omaha Beach, Obama Beach.
